Lovely Chinese antique, Qing Dynasty, laquered wooden rice barrel with metal fittings. The lid has an engraved circle with a pattern engraved inside it. It has metal handles, metal lid pull, a metal ring around the barrel which has slipped slightly & is loose & a metal band around the base. The lid a a crack through it from one side to the other. This does not detract from the overall
attractiveness of the barrel. Very good condition given its age & use.
