This outstanding blue & white jar dating from the Qianlong period depicts – “the three friends of winter” – the prunus, bamboo and pine, also known in Chinese & Japanese cultures as the
symbols of fortune & longevity. The reverse portrays three perfectly painted bumblebees. No apparent chips or cracks. Excellent condition. Jar has a wooden lid.
