Condition Descriptions
We take pride in providing detailed condition reports. Our descriptions disclose any significant age-related soiling, damage, or restoration.
After a century or more of handling, most pieces will show signs of wear. Scratches & chips may be found on the bases, edges & insides of bowls, exposed extremities may be chipped, & dust & dirt will have accumulated in the recesses of vases & figurines. Chips, hairline age cracks, cracks etc will all be illustrated in the photos on the website. Please view carefully & realise that the antiques are hundreds of years old.
Returns and Refunds
We understand that discrepancies may occur, and our Return and Refund policies are designed to address such situations. If an item is not as described, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price and shipping, provided you notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. To initiate this process, please contact us via email or phone. This applies to antiques only. There is no return on artwork purchased.
- Significantly Not as Described: Refunds are applicable in cases where there is a failure on our part to detect or disclose significant soiling, damage, or restoration.
Buyer’s Remorse
Due to the delicate nature of our items and the logistical challenges involved, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
Returning Your Item to Us
For returns, it is crucial that items are securely packed and returned to us in the same high-quality manner in which they were dispatched to you. This ensures the safe transit of delicate items.
Duties and Taxes on Export Sales
Please note that we do not refund taxes and duties if the item has been exported and a return is requested.
